Join us for a hands-on session and interactive workshop focused on the fundamentals of sound design, led by Lily Jordy, Head of the Sound Design Team at Arturia. We will work in small groups using MiniFreak instruments, exploring creative techniques and building practical skills in an engaging, collaborative environment.
This workshop is open for anyone who is interested in synths and sound design. No previous experience needed.

LILY JORDY
Passionate, classically trained multi-instrumentalist and sound designer with a unique multicultural background, combining technical proficiency and artistic sensitivity. Adaptive and resourceful, with audio engineering knowledge and over 14 years of experience with DAW's, I specialize in sound synthesis, composition and music production.In 2017 I began working as an intern with Arturia, creating presets and demos for their VST's and hardware synths. Now Head of Sound Design, I pilot our team and coordinate projects with 70+ international sound designers and composers to fulfill the artistic ambitions of our products, always striving for sound excellence and high quality standards. As a freelance sound designer from 2018 to 2020, I contractually created preset libraries and composed demos across many genres with companies such as Envato, BLEASS and Soundslate.From my heart, I produce organic electronica as 'Lyli J' since 2010, currently signed on Barcelona-based label 'See Blue Audio', and regularly perform at summer festivals like Hadra, Ethereal Decibel and Isis Garden. I continue to develop my skills and sensitivity in various projects I undertake, eager to collaborate with open minds to create something unique together.

SYNTH LIBRARY
is a space for sharing, creating, discussing, experimenting, learning and unlearning together not only in the field of electronic music. Space full of instruments, books and more sources of sounds and inspiration run by artists and curators with the aim to rehearse together, support each other, collaborate and listen to each other with respect, to reflect context, rebuild modular structures and create welcoming space in which we can test new instruments as well as new ideas and ways of living and organizing. The Synth Library stands thanks to volunteers and donations. Your workshop donations are split between the facilitators of the workshop and the running costs of the library.
